slapstik skateboards mission statement
Slapstik Skateboards arose from a series of drawings called 101 Alternate Uses for the Human Body. Slapstik's graphics were originally composed of violent acts centered on floating pastel backgrounds. As time went on, short stories and ramblings related to the drawings began to fill the backgrounds leading to more words than pictures, ultimately ending the 30 deck run. The success of Slapstik suspended the company's scheduled end in 2006, and resulted in Slapstik of the Living Dead. SSLD's concept was to recreate the original Slapstik series with a George Romero living dead twist, which ran from 2006 to 2009. The Living Dead series was soon followed by the fairy tales and fables of Mother Goose and the Brothers Grimm which illustrated classic fables and tales in a modern setting. In 2010, Slapstik returned to the pastel back drops and absurd visuals started in 2001, with animals engaging in foolish human acts in a series simply called Animals. The mission of Slapstik Skateboards is very simple. We will make fun of you.

....more religious shit. 1 dollar bin. pretty weird sounding. like the music from the mass murder movies where the old house, creepy parents, middle of nowhere, their kid is an axe murderer...oh yeah. Texas Chainsaw Massacre....i took it out after the first couple songs....but the name is awesome and semi-confusing...aren't burning fires a bad thing in most circumstances? do i want a ghostly love cast onto me that resembles a "burning fire"?

Small and X-Large
I've got too much crap. I really shouldn't call it crap when I trying to convince others to buy it from me. The crap I'm talking about is leftover shirts from slapstik of the living dead, slapstik fairy tales, and my thesis exhibition from December 2008. If you want any of these, let me know, but the chances of that happening are about as good as me winning the lottery without playing the lottery. Look at it this way, if you were a size small, or your girlfriend wears a small, spend $10 for a slapstik lottery ticket and you're guaranteed to win a shirt.
...over the last year and store it all in my basement...it started when i was sick of having lame skate photos on the wall of my last apartment and went with my girl to an antique store. only to stumble across a "phenomenon" called the dollar record racks....amazing shit lay in those things...weird stuff (like the lil kids album below)...i bought most for photo purposes to "spruce" up the bedroom. i eventually got a record player and now listen to them quite often...i like this Elvis one...he sings christian hymns on the record and they sound pretty good...never been a big Elvis dude, i thought, but the photo is sick...

...baptist and lived to tell about it. those fuckers are crazy, fear based and guilt ridden people....the parents are usually strict and the kids are usually....kids...the "youth group" i was in, the older kids smoked weed, drank and had sex on the regs, just like every other teenager...shit was real weird...."yes, oh, mighty Lord, we give our hearts to you and rejoice in yer name"...
..."so seriously dude. you get touch her boobs? who's gonna get the beer?" i have a kid now...this "harry potter magic land" shit makes me nervous...look at the songs on the album....i don't know....
